The result of your photo session will be professional magazine quality images complete with airbrushing and retouching. I only offer the best services for you which is why I pride myself on having experienced, working professionals for your hair and makeup. My Makeup Artist has over 15 years experience and works full time in the industry. She has worked in New York, L.A. and San Francisco and in all facets of makeup: editorial, runway, film and television. She has experience working with various skin types and will completely customize your pinup look. My Hair Stylists are licensed professionals who also work full time in the industry. They have over ten years experience and specialize in vintage hair styles so, your pinup look will be authentic. Whether your hair is short, long, curly or straight, my stylists will have no problem transforming your locks into retro perfection.
Clothing, Accessories & Props
In addition to an amazing all female team, I also offer a huge selection of clothing and props for your photos. My wardrobe (which is housed in over 25 feet of closet space) ranges from a size 0 to 2x complete with vintage and retro styled dresses, shorts, tops, skirts, lingerie, swimsuits, aprons, costumes, hosiery and shoes ranging in sizes 5-11. I also have two large storage rooms piled high with all types of props.
How it Works
Pre-Shoot Consultation:
Consultations are offered in person at the studio or via phone or email a few weeks before your session date. Consultations at the studio last about 45-60 minutes and during that time we will discuss poses and themes plus, you will get to try on and choose your wardrobe. The consults at my studio are held on specific weeknights. If you are from out of town or your schedule is too demanding to make it to the studio, then we can schedule a phone or email consultation. These consults work just as well, the only difference is I will have various outfits picked out for you to try on the day of your session based on your theme.
Day of Your Photo Session:
It's important to eat a little something before you arrive at the studio as once you are here your session will start with hair and makeup which takes about 90 minutes. After hair and makeup are complete, you will change into wardrobe, step into set and the actual photo shoot will begin. With each set/theme we shoot for about 30-45 minutes in a variety of poses as some shots will be full body and some shots will be close-ups. If you purchased a Half or Full Day Package with more than one set/theme, you will have hair, makeup, wardrobe, background and prop change so, you have a completely different look for each set.
